This innovative installation utilised a cow shed roof to house 16 high-performance solar panels. The system is designed to provide sustainable energy for both the residential house and the on-site Bed & Breakfast.

Protec Auto spares

Project Overview:

This project involved installing 108 solar panels, strategically divided to supply energy to three separate units. Each unit was equipped with its commercial-grade Huawei inverters to ensure optimal energy management and system efficiency.

Castleknock Grocery shop

 

Project Overview: 90 Solar Panels for High-Energy Consumption Shop

This challenging installation involved placing 90 solar panels in an East/West orientation to optimize energy generation throughout the day. The system was designed for a busy deli with high electricity consumption, including ovens and a large array of fridges, making it essential to reduce the shop’s energy costs.

Key Details of the Installation:

  • Panels: 90 high-efficiency solar panels
  • Inverter: 33.3kW SolarEdge 3-Phase inverter
  • Energy Generation: The system has been consistently generating over 4MW of electricity per month, greatly reducing reliance on grid power.

Project Highlights:

  • The strategic East/West panel orientation ensures that the system generates power from morning until evening, maximizing output for the shop’s high-energy needs.
  • The SolarEdge inverter allows for greater flexibility and system optimization, ensuring the solar panels operate at peak efficiency despite shading or other conditions.
  • The system’s success has significantly lowered the shop’s electricity costs, contributing to long-term savings and sustainability.

Acre Project, Celbridge, Nov 2024

System Components:

  • 36 Trina 440W Solar Panels
  • 1 x 10kW Huawei Single-Phase Inverter
  • 1 x 5kW Huawei Single-Phase Inverter
  • 10kWh Huawei Battery Storage

This installation involved the unique challenge of cascading two single-phase inverters to create a unified monitoring system. This innovative configuration ensures seamless performance tracking and optimizes energy production, providing an efficient and reliable solar energy solution.
